CHALLENGE:

  1. Established in 1981, Ernie Green Industries (EGI) is a leading manufacturer of automotive components with 12 plastic injection molding manufacturing facilities throughout North America, serving a multitude of unique channels from medical to industrial and energy to automotive. The facilities acted as independent brands, serving various historical segments, and needed a crystallized brand message to sustain current clients and leverage future growth opportunities.

SOLUTION:

  1. Create a new master brand which successfully converges all other brands within the EGI portfolio.
  2. Position the new brand as a worldwide leader in innovative solutions and global competitiveness, locally.

MEASURED SUCCESS:

  1. Created brand system design differentiator, eNNOVEA, as the industry’s most disciplined design, engineering and manufacturing production process. This proprietary methodology gained such recognition that the master brand was renamed eNNOVEA to reflect its brand equity impact.
  2. New brand eNNOVEA successfully positioned and diversified across seven non-automotive industries: Life Science, Industrial, Consumer Products, Aerospace, Medical, Energy and Defense.
  3. New brand supported capture of “Preferred Supplier Status” for Covidien, one of the healthcare industry’s largest global manufacturers and marketers.
  4. Aided in increasing Merger & Acquisition trajectory by 43%, debuting 10 facilities to 16 countries, from one brand.
  5. Transformed three decades of a single channel, manufacturing legacy brand into a multi-channel innovative, collaborative brand.
