CHALLENGE:

Since 1984, PromoWest Productions has entertained the Midwest. The Newport Music Hall, PromoWest Pavilion (now the A&R Bar),The Plaza, Fat Eddie’s, and The Basement were independent venues that loosely comprised PromoWest Productions; an entertainment company without a consolidated brand.

SOLUTION:

Create a family of sub-branded venues, which collectively reside within a master brand simply called, PromoWest. Converge all brand assets, resources and messaging as a unified and differentiated value proposition.

MEASURED SUCCESS:

  1. Via Circone + Associates, PromoWest Pavilion, as America’s original indoor/ outdoor concert venue captured its first six figure, multi-year QSR sponsorship and naming rights deal with America’s first fast-food hamburger chain, White Castle. The new award-winning venue was crowned the House of Crave.
  2. Created the Decibel Club, an inventive and highly successful concert club, offering music fans an inside track to exclusive entertainment offers.
  3. Rated “Best New Major Concert Venue” by Pollstar.
  4. Produced the most profitable summer season in company history.
  5. Revenues up 37% from comparable prior year-to-date period.
  6. Business First “Book of Lists” ranked PromoWest Pavilion & Newport Music Hall #7 & 8 for Profit Attractions in Columbus, Ohio.
